Highlands
One of my daughters studied in Edinburgh for a period, so I had visited Scotland before. This time, I traveled over to the beautiful island in the UK with my wife. Before we toured the capital, we rented a car to take a trip to the Scottish Highlands. The car rental company convinced me that we needed an SUV, preferably equipped with a good navigation system. I ended up renting a brand new Volvo XC90 with every possible luxury. Of course, it was too expensive – but we had an excellent voyage.
