My previous photo studio was next to a record label. From time to time I talked to one of the owners, Mathias, who had his office right next to mine. He was also a prominent guitarist and had several guitars that he played occasionally. One of them had seven strings, which I thought was strange (I’ve never played any instrument). He explained that seven-string guitars were used for various types of music, including metal.
