Figueira da Foz

Portugal 2017 on a hot summer day in August. I drove from Porto in the direction of Lisbon. Although the car’s air conditioning did a great job, I was longing for the sea. So I took off the highway and eventually ended up in Figueira da Foz. It turned out to be a popular tourist city for Portuguese and Spaniards – with a wonderful sandy beach that slopes slightly towards the Atlantic ocean.
